I got a mini trampoline...here's why!

We moved into our first house a couple of weeks ago. There has been a ton of back and forth and overall..I am exhausted. In honor of all the ups and downs, I got a mini trampoline.

A mini trampoline, also known as a rebounder, is a super fun way to get some movement in. I don’t love cardio if I am not teaching the class (lookin at you HIIT) but I recognize the benefits of getting my blood pumping every now and then.

Enter: mini trampoline

Here are 5 reasons I wanted one:

Low Impact: I workout a lot (you probably know that). I did not want another form of exercise that would be super hard on my body. The trampoline mat actually absorbs a lot of the jumping impact so it protects your joints more than running on pavement.

They take up little space: It is a MINI TRAMPOLINE! The one I got actually folds in half so if I wanted to, I could fold it and store it. Luckily, the new house has a spot for it currently. I also saw people putting a cushion on top of them and using them as little ottomans.

They are good in any season: Depending on where you live, getting outside to workout can be impossible. Even going for a walk on a very humid or icy day can be way too much. With my new trampoline, I just bring the fun inside.

Not time consuming Exercise does not need to be a slog, it can be short and sweet. “The Internet” says about 10 minutes of jumping a day is enough to see the effects. I thought that might be BS so I tracked it on my Whoop. LET ME TELL YOU, I was sweating by the end of ten minutes of jumping so something was going on.

Last but absolutely not least, IT IS SO FUN. Movement is allowed to be effective and fun. It can get your heart rate up and actually make you happy.

Here is the link to the one I got.

If enough of us get one, we are doing trampoline class!
